New to animation, I am using Photoshop CS3 Extended and can’t work out how to save my animations…. haven’t come across a gif option… I eventually want to use the end result in a Quicktime movie

I need to import gif files into CS3 extended as layers and than save the animation as an AVI. I have a LED message center and it displays video in avi format. when I import a gif now it is a single layer. Image ready used to display all the gif layers. I upgraded just so I could do this function.

You have to go to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers… then type in the name of the GIF in the File Name box.
