Recently the color black in my Photoshop 7.0 is showing up as red, which is praticurally annoying. I know it isn’t my monitor because black shows up fine outside of Photoshop. I can see it in the pallet just fine too, and when I go to save for wed, but while I’m using the works pace I cannot get true black like I used to be able too. The color settings are also untouched and set like I always have them. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

If it’s just Photoshop, then your monitor profile is most likely hosed. You’ll need to re-calibrate using Adobe Gamma. Pick a profile other than your monitor profile (try sRGB) and start over from there.
