Merge to HDR – stopped working!!!

Have no idea why, but it has worked up to last week (last time i tried); and today locks up (not responding) after loading 5 images in I get a blank screen and nothing.

Have rebooted machine twice, and still the same.

Am selecting images in Bridge, then using tools/ photoshop/ merge to hdr.

Windows XP pro, 2 gb ram.
