That would be something I’m interested too! I prefer to save my retouched files to a different location than the originals. If somebody would know a way to do that, i would be gratefull!!!

It is a Windows Explorer thing and the only way round it that I know is to use an add-on.

I have an old File Manager replacement called PowerDesk which has a module called Dialog Helper. That works for me!

It’s still available I see!
