Does anyone know where Photoshop (CS3) stashes the files for Custom Actions, once you create them? What does it call them? I’d like to export an action I created on one computer into another computer. Looked everywhere I can think of, so far I’m coming up dry… A little help?

Many thanks!

It "saves" them only as part of the Actions Palette Preferences file. You need to Save them yourself to a location of your choosing if you want them truly saved.

Make an Action Set and name it and drag the Actions into it. Then go to the palette flyout menu and choose Save Actions. Save them anywhere, but a good place is the Photoshop Actions folder in the Presets folder.

Great! Exactly the info I needed. Drop them in the (new) Actions folder and then use "Load" to transfer them to another computer I assume?
