Fly out menu doesn’t work

The little triangle in the styles palette used to load new styles doesn’t work. I and load other presets in other areas of the interface but for some reason the styles one is stuck.

I was thinking about reinstalling but heard something about saving custom presets, styles, actions, patterns, etc in different directory as reinstall will trash them all.

Any idea on how to correct the stuck button?

Sometimes having too many styles in the palette can lock up the flyout. Try deleting some styles from the palette.

Especially on Win98/SE/ME.

Tried deleting all styles but still won’t open up. Tell me I don’t have to reinstall!!!

why not? reinstall takes less that 5 minutes. sorry if this has been said before, but have you tried resetting your prefrences per the faq?
