Sorry to ask in here, but the illustrator newsgroups seem to be dead …
I am trying to teach myself Illustrator and I am trying to achieve a chrome look similar to this
http://www.eyesondesign.net/pshop/chrometext/chrometext.htm on a design I have created in illustrator. I have found a few tutorials online but they all deal with text but my design is a sort of rough outline of a heart and the effect doesn’t seem to translate very well.
