Hi,
I am trying to clean up a photograph of a very old painting. For some reason, there seems to be a pattern of horizontal lines in the print and I am at my wit’s end in trying to remove them, without losing the background in a big way. Any help you can provide is truly appreciated. I have attached the portion of the picture which has a dominant issue.
