My lazy way that works 99.9% of the time:

Select the pupils with the lasso tool. You don’t have to be too careful, just make sure you don’t get skin in the selection. You can hold the shift button down and select both eyes.

Go to Image > Apply Image

Select the green Channel

Select darken for blending mode

That’s it!
