My aging monitor is showing signs of terminal problems and I will be replacing it. I have a nice (in my opinion) CRT monitor picked out, but I’d love to reclaim come precious physical desk space and get a LCD monitor. Since I know little about them, other than that is what sales people are pushing on you these days, I thought I’d get some feedback from the group on them.
Are LCD monitors up to the task of photoediting and other serious graphics work? I’ve seen them touted primarily as space saving devices and superb for text, but little mention of their graphics capabilities or comparison with CRT monitors on that score.
