I have PS 7.01 Upgrade version. In order to install PS 7.01 (after reformatting HD), the previous version of PS must be pre-installed on HD. The two-step procedure is time-consuming. It seems that the PS Upgrade CD is looking for something in the previous version. Could someone tell me what file(s) in the previous version the Update CD is looking for? I wish to install only these files before installing the PS Upgrade. That would save my time and effort. Satoshi

You don’t need to install the previous version, all you need is to have the CD ready and put it in the CDrom drive when the upgrade install ask for it.
