I’m a beginner using an ArtixScan 1800f -> SilverFast -> Photoshop to proof and print a large collection of color and black and white negatives. I’ve no idea where to start in choosing output types, grey , grey16, 12 bit color, 48 bit, etc… or how to arrive at profiles that do justice to the many types of cn material I have. Any help, pointers, book suggestions appreciated.
