when i tried to use free platform (it’s from edit->free platform Ctr +T)in photoshop 7, the attention : could not transform because the initial bounding rectangle is empty. does anyone have singular problem like me?
how do i solve this problem?

You’re ‘platforming’ an empty layer.
Sorry, couldn’t resist!
(it’s ‘Free Transform’)

Make sure the layer you want to transform has something in/on it. Also, the background layer cannot be transformed this way. You have to promote it to a regular layer first, by double-clicking on it, or by Alt/Option clicking, which bypasses the dialogue.
