Hi guys, I can’t seem to work out how to save a square preset brush for use with the healing tool. I can get a very flat horizontal or vertical ellipse but no square. Is there a workaround? Sometimes the circle just isn’t precise enough.

Thanks in advance for any wisdom.

I may be wrong, but I do not think that the Healing Brush will use "Custom Brushes," or even most of the supplied, non-elliptical brushes. If it will, please show me what I missed. TIA

I can’t find a workaround, either. One kludge is to select the area to patch or heal as a square, do your thing, then move the selection and repeat. Another is to set roundness and angle to zero and drag down carefully. 🙁

I suspect what the OP wants to do can be done in an entirely different way, possibly with slices and layers.
