I have used Photoshop since 3.0. I have no intentions of buying CS now or…until it’s fixed or another comes along. If you are happy with what works for you, why the need? This forumm has turned into an unending cry about CS. Too bad; too dumb!!

CS is great Brian. Of course people complain here. This is where they come when they have problems. Did you see this place right after 7 was released?

Bottom line is most people aren’t coming here to say how much they love the product, they’re getting on happily with cs doing things they never could before (easily). Bottom line is CS is a good upgrade. IMO.

Then don’t buy it. But what exactly is your point?

16 bit adjustment layers, Photofilters, and best: shadow/highlight adjustment are more than worth the upgrade cost.

I’ve upgraded since 3.0 and never looked back. Too bad you feel the way you do. Maybe if you took the time to learn it Photoshop might work for you. Then again, if you don’t like it then pay someone $40+ an hour to work with your images. IMO

I am having a problem with the new CS version. I have used Photoshop since version 5.5 and never had problems. Now, out of the blue, the tools in the toolbar just stop working. I have to save what I’m working on, close Photoshop and start over. This occurs over and over. I feel lke asking for my money back and returning to version 7.0. I stopped trying to use any plugins, bought additional memory, deleted and rebuilt the Preference file (several times), but still the problem continues. The only new item I have added since version 7.0 was a Wacom tablet. Could this be the problem? Does anyone have any ideas what I can do? HELP !!
