Hey,

In PS CS, I have an image, and if I zoom way back, I can see all the non-image space around it. However, if you are way zoomed in, you aren’t able to use the hand moving tool to move the view so that the edge of the image is in the center of the viewport. Does that description make sense? Sometimes I want the edge or corner of the image in the center of the viewport away from the scrollbars (to paint or crop, or whatever), and I want extra non-image space in the port.

Is there anyway of allowing this to happen? Or am I wishing for something that is not there at all?

Yes. With the normal viewing window you can’t go past the edges if the image is large.

Yes … type f to get full-screen mode with a gray background … hold down the spacebar and you can move past the image edges … type f again to get a black background and type f one more time to get back to the normal viewing mode.

Thank you Bill. That is what I was looking for, and if you don’t know what you’re looking for, it’s a hard thing to find.

I love that feature! How did we ever live without it in the previous versions?
