Hi

(Newish user to Macs and PShop)

In Photoshop CS8 I’m getting lines on the screen when I move my image around.

These aren’t actually saved in the image – just on the display – mus be a screen redraw problem.

Thanks

It can very well be a video card issue, especially if the lines don’t print. :/

Open your Mac and make sure the graphics card is seated properly. It could also be defective.

Check also the video cables and all connections.

Duh! Thanks – just checked cables on back and seems to be OK now

Phew! Just bought a used G5 and thought it was a lemon!

Thanks very much
