CS and Processor type

On Adobe’s web site it says that you require a Pentium processor to run CS. Is this correct? can I run this with and AMD processor?

If not, it is a ghost on my AMD 2600! Yes AMD chips Run most programs as fast or faster than a comparable Intel chip. I think Quake is the only program that run faster on Intel.

Runs as fast, or faster AND is much cheaper
