Automate JPEG to TIFF conversion in CS?

I have many photos saved in JPEG format. I want to convert them to TIFF. I don’t want to do it one photo at a time. Is there a way to batch convert from one file type to the other in CS? Basically a batched "save as" function.

You’re pretty much there in your thinking. All you need to do is open up one image and create a Save as TIFF action. Then run that action on your other images from the File>Automate>Batch menu.

I am wanting to do the same but convert for JPG to PSD.The only action to same as is PDF in the Batch window. How do I add a "Save As Photo PSD"? I tried to perform a save as PSD on the first photo but no luck.
