Hi everyone,

Was curious, I have Photshop CS with the filter gallery – (like it alot) With add-ins or ‘externally’ created filters is it possible to view a preview of these as well (i.e. as well as the ‘default’ filters) in the filter gallery

No. The Filter Gallery only works with Photoshops own filters.

There is a work-around. A script was written for Photoshop CS that allows custom filters and a mechanism to preview them. The script is free and fully functional in it’s basic form. The feature that allows the creation of custom filters is however a "Plus" feature and is not free. Visit the website at
