Hi,

I have a psd file with several named layers. Is there any way to create a droplet or something that will go through each layer and save only that layer for the web (jpg or gif) and give the file name the name of the layer? I played around with the actions window a little but no luck.

Thanks.

What version? There’s a script in CS and one available for 7 which saves layers as files. You might have to do further work in an action. There’s also something called Layer Splitter which does this. http://www.metadma.com/LayerSplitter.html

If you have CS just use File>Scripts>Export layers to files.
