The adobeforums are excellent and once you sign up they can be accessed through nntp. Also, many are broken down to be platform specific.

If you don’t mind mail list, try yahoo groups,
http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/1600115359
That’s a list of groups under directory
"Top > Computers & Internet > Software > Graphics > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop"

The top three groups have more than 3000 members, respectively.

They are one of the best Photoshop resources.

Forgot to say, there are archives in the groups that
you can read in your web browser,
for example,

I know I’ve seen the preferences question of how I want to be identified in NNTP, but I’ve never seen how to access AdobeForums with my NNTP reader. Any help you can give would be great.

Thanks,
Clyde

Just go to whatever dialog in which you choose a news server, and point it to adobeforums.com. You’ll also need to get to the option settings for entering your ID and password. If you can’t find these items, there may be someone here with the same newsreader who can walk you through it — you’ll have to tell us which one you have, though.
