When I access my zoom tool in 7.01 it starts out as a unzoom (-) instead of a englarge (+). How can I reverse that?

I uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn’t do it/

Sounds like you left your zoom tool in zoom out mode when you quit PS and the preferences are now set that way.

To fix without deleting the pref file, open PS, click the magnifying glass (zoom tool). On the zoom tool options menu (at the top), select the magnifying glass with the"+" symbol as oppossed to "-" symbol. Then quit PS. Now when you open PS again, and the zoom tool should be set to "zoom in".

There may be an easier way to this <grin>
