I am trying to make a sand effect.
first I fill a background with 50% grey , then add gaussian noise, apply a filter (brush strokes/spatter).
then I colorize it using hue/saturation. In the preview mode, as I adjust the colors, it looks great, BUT, when I click ‘ok’, the color changes.
This seems to be the crux of the problem I was having as posted in my original question. Any thoughts on why the color changes when it is applied?
