Im currently having trouble trying to change the file type assiocations… i do not know where the option is. I had just uninstalled Ulead PhotoImpact XL and it change most of the file assiocations from PhotoImpact XL to now Macromedia Fireworks MX, what can i do to assiocate all the available formats to PhotoShop so that when im viewing a picture i can just double click on it and not right click then press "Edit in Adobe Photoshop"?

Thanks for Reading and please reply soon! 🙂

Simplest way is: right click the file, go Open With, Choose Program, Choose PS and tick the always open with box.

Do this for each file type you want to associate with PS.

I know that is a way.. but that wouldnt what i would consider being the ‘simplist’ especially if i just want all of the file assoications to be with PhotoShop.. or unless Adobe forgot that people actually want to open there pictures with PhotoShop and not just go "gosh" at the screen!

Reinstall PS. Now that is easy.
