I’ve got a .psd doc…. One layer has a few effects on it, including a reddish pattern overly. and then on top of that layer, a effect layer that is channel Mixer set to monochrome, to make it look black and white.
all looks well, the patterned layer looks like the surface of the moon, kind of rocky looking and grey.
When i flatten the image to save as tif, all the texture in the pattern either "shrinks" or mostly goes away and the grey moon rocky stuff now looks like grey smooth sand. sort of.
Can anyone explain why flattening an image messes up some effects, and what can be done to prevent this?
thanks
