I have some frame that I imported in photoshop from a DV clip (720×480 DV 0.9)

I do I corret the aspect ratio so that my frames are not larger than tall.

Are you using Photoshop CS?

If so you can adjust the pixel aspect ratio.

If you are using NTSC source, and I think you are, then 720×480 translates to 654.5 x 480 (using good math) or 640×480 (using faith based math). You could also use mutliples of the above: 720×528 or 720×540 respectively.

It all really depends on what you want to do with the stills. Also, the difference between the two sizes won’t be very apparent.

Alternatively, CS does some tricks with the display of images by setting the pixel aspect ratio. This allows you to view things as if they were square pixels.
