Keyboard Shortcuts don’t work

I installed Photoshop CS , but when I try a keyboard shortcut (eg. ctrl + a) nothing seems to happen. It’s with all the shortcuts, how can I solve this problem ?

in the meantime, have you updated your keyboard drivers? try that first.
