Getting Raw images into CS

Hi all,

I have just upgraded to Photoshop Cs and am having trouble getting my RAW file pictures into photoshop.When I connect the camera (Canon G2) and it automatically opens in photoshop the pictures appear but when I try to "Get Pictures" I get a message "Could not complete the import command because of problems with the scanner". On page 64 of the manual it says The camera RAW dialog box will automatically open. but I’m afraid it doesn’t. I have downloaded the latest camera raw update from Adobe.Where am I going wrong. Any help would be much appreciated. Ernst.

Empty the camera’s storage onto your hard drive and try again with the ‘browse’ option in the directory you dumped the images to.
