Photshop price and version advise

Hi

We are in PR business and sometime get images that we need to crop, resize or convert or do minor retouching to. What version of Photoshop is good for us? Also what is a good place to purchase Photoshop from in UK that has a good price to offer?

Considering that cropping and resizing can be done with free programs like Irfanview, and that all you want to do beyond that is "minor" touch-up, any of the older versions of Photoshop Elements should suffice for you. An older version of Photoshop Elements can be picked up for under US$50/UK£24.

I do not know the upgrade requirements are for CS3, probably v7, but you might want to consider buying the version that you can use to upgrade with in the future. You can get the older version on ebay.
