Hi
I’m making a logo to get printed out onto card in a printshop & am struggling over something basic.
Created the logo & text in Illustrator, scaled without affecting the ‘crispness’ and saved as .ai. Opened it up in PS and saved as .psd for him to print (he hasn’t got Illustrator on his machine). He wants it as 300 dpi but when I opened it up in PS, the ‘Rasterize Generic PDF Format’ box had a resolution of 70 by default. I changd it to 300 and the image grew too!
The ‘New Doc Preset Res.’ box in the preferences section is showing that the screen resolution is 72 pixels/inch and the print is 300 pixels/inch.
All i want to do is get my image with text from Illustrator to PS and save it at a high resolution – any help is greatly appreciated,
Andy
