An action set does not appear as a file until you have saved it (see the drop-down menu at the top-right of the actions palette).

Try looking in the folder which Johan Elzenga twice advised, the last time you were asking about Actions.

C\Documents and Settings\Username\Application
Data\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\presets\Actions

This is quite different from the one you mention.

About a week ago, you asked the same question and you were explaned that you need to save the action set yourself to that folder before it appears there. What’s the point of asking questions if you don’t read the answers?

I should have said that once you get the C Drive Folder open, you need to go to Tools > Folder Options and set the View to "Show Hidden Files and Folders".

Then create something you won’t forget like C:\Maya or C:\Maya\Action and save the action there then you won’t forget. Unless "Maya" isn’t your real name then there may be a chance that you may forget <bg>

No, don’t follow uncle Joe’s advice. He’s a bit slow.
What you do is saving it immediately also on another drive, in a file properly named. Then it is protected against losing it when reinstalling PS or replacing an image, or reformatting or whatever.

thank you all very much for your responses….

Andrew, that was it, I didn’t know I had to save them.. (and you can save all actions in one set at once, this is cool…) I wonder why they don’t get saved automatically….;)

(the path to the actions the next poster mentions that I asked about in a previous OP was from a different computer…;) thanks again…

Yep.

Its the same one.

She seems to have problems understanding the answers supplied in the previous thread, and also in the one about re-sizing and resolution.

Perhaps her reader only picks up some of the postings or it might be the onset of Alzheimers, or maybe she is just stupider than most.

Perhaps she went away and could not see the responses before they rolled off (expired) from her server. So save the insults for yourself, asshole.

Or some may only agree with one who agrees with him/her/them. Yup! I have read quite a few who asks the question but won’t accept the answer, and even come up with more answer to back their questions <bg>
