so i was working on a site…that i’m working on, and i went to apply some blending options to some text, and after clicking outer glow, nothing happened! I’m using windows xp, and before i did some tweaking to the document, glow effects worked fine, so i don’t know what’s going on. maybe i accidentally hit a button? here is a screenshot of what i was trying to do, and you can cleary see it not working:

I also tried copying and pasting each layer into a new document and the glow effects worked fine, but i don’t feel like redoing the slices and figuring out the exact location of text, etc. Please help!
