Helping out a newbie on his Photoshop CS I found that his zoom control was reversed. That is pressing the magnifier and then clicking the image decreased the size instead of increasing . Alt Zoom had the size increasing. Is this a correctable fault?

In my PS version 7.01 one can select to zoom in or out by checking the + or – sign in the options bar. (when zoom is the active tool).
