I don’t have access to such a place and am looking for a high resolution image of a row of interesting (old) books on shelves such as a second-hand bookshop. A library image is too mundane. This is for a ‘one off’ for my own use to make a mural for a wall in my workshop. Any ideas please. Gavin.

Have you searched the usual image sources such as Punchstock or Creatas? hard to believe there wouldn’t be such a photo somewhere. You can also search Google images, but that returns images that belong to other people as well as images for sale.

Will books with Norwegian (and some other languages) do?

I collect books, some of them looks really old, some are really old, and I am an amateur photographer. My shelves are of IKEA white foil type, though.

Could I possibly be of any help?

I get DENNY background catalogs and they have backdrops on canvas for photogs, but the other day I got an ad for digital backgrounds, sorry I didn’t save it.

These are from http://www.morguefile.com

It’s one of the few places I know of where you can actually get GOOD hi res photos for free.
I just recently found it myself.

These are photos of old books. I hope they’re close to what you’re looking for, but if they’re not you can always modify them 🙂

Sorry, I tried to send some hi res photos for you, but they exceeded the attachment size, so I went into PS and made them smaller.

Hope these are what you need. I’ll be sending 3 total.

I assume someone has already pointed out that this is not a binaries group and that
attaching files is considered in bad form????
