Hi,

I got Photshop CS and I am trying to make a chart overview, containing a few dashed arrows – they should be straight regular arrows, but some of them to have 90% angles in their line (when they point from one square somewhere to another square…)

Any ideas how this can be done?

Thanks,

Stefan

Photoshop is not really the programme for this sort of work, you need a design or draw program!!
But there are various arrows in the custom shape tool flyout (press U on your keyboard and the custom shape symbol will appear on the top toolbar –

Go to the shapes flyout and choose the line tool,
In the toolbar that appears at the top of the screen choose the following 4 items
1) the colour of the line
2) the width of the line
3) To the left of the width box there is a small downwards pointing arrow. If you click on this a box will open allowing you to choose and define arrowheads
4) To the right of the word style click on the down arrow by the box and then the arrow at the top right of the box which appears. Choose dotted strokes

You might have to experiment a bit to get the right width, size of arrowhead and type of dotted stoke required.
