Dear gurus,
Is it possible to achieve EXIF info although the image (jpeg file) has been retouched in Photoshop? I understand that the data might’ve changed. Here’s the case, I opened an image, retouched it to make it nice and so on, saved it to jpg. However, when it was displayed on the website, the EXIF data would only show the pixel size (i.e. 600 x 600). Is EXIF only the original data from the camera? How do we obtain that data in Photoshop before/after the manipulation? Thanks Masters..

photoshop CS certainly keeps the EXIF data although some filters/plugins/actions seem to eliminate it.

Go to the "file" pull down menu and the "file info" or alt+ctrl+I

If you use an image viewer such as Irfanview or ACDSee you can also check out the EXIF data – I use Irfanview to view web photos and often use the function to see tha details of the photo (when they are there)

Of course, there could be setting somewhere to change this.
