This might seem like a silly question, but… having just upgraded to CS2 from 7.1.. how do you link 2 layers together? That entire column (next to the hide/unhide in the layers palette) has disappeared.

In Windows:

-Click on the first layer.
-Shift-click on the last layer you want linked. They will all turn dark grey.
-Right-click and select "Link Layers" from the pop-up.

To link layers, press ctrl and hold while click to highlight those layers intended to link and click the "link icon" below the layer’s palette. Use shift instead of ctrl to link a group of layers in sequence by highlighting the top and bottom layers within the group. To unlink, highlight the linked layer or layers and click on the "link icon" again.
