In the drop down list of sort criteria, the bottom choice is "custom", however when it is selected the choice is only to sort in ascending order. Is there any way of changing this "custom" sort to be able to sort images by the time they were taken. I need to select images more precisely then by just the date?

this is exactly what I’m trying to figure out as well

Date created is the date when the photo are down loaded
I would like to be able to sort by "Date taken"

It seems like an obvious choice but I can’t seem to find a way to do this.

Can anyone assist?

I do some shoots with two cameras, in which I have set the cameras’ clocks to the same time of day setting (close enough, not to the split second). When I bring up the camera images in the file browser, to merge the two in shooting sequence I sort by date modified, which is the date and time the camera recorded in image exif/metadata. (Date created is the time file was created on the system — WinXP.)
