I’m putting together a comp of a template for a website. The client wants the colors to complement the logo in the upper left. I think the colors I’ve chosen do, but I’m not sure. Any suggestions?

Here’s the page:

Thank you.

I find the white little low in contrast against the teal. The colours are nice, though.

Philip,

I agree with Scott. I think your teal should be a bit darker to give better contrast with the white text.

Also, in an unrelated matter, if I set my Text Size in IE6 to Larger or Largest, I get an overprint of one text field over another. Not only should your webpages work with more than one browser, they should also work with all "reasonable" settings of Internet Explorer.

On Mozilla 1.7, the wide column of text overprints the column to its right, following that very dark photograph. Also, there’s a teal navigation bar and a copyright notice that fall in the middle of the page, on top of body text, instead of at the bottom or top.

Is there a reason to select a font size to override the default font users pick for their browsers? It seems that, for legibility, it would be nice to use the size the user has selected.
