I am beta testing Windows Vista (beta 2) and have encountered a problem with Adobe bridge.

My registered copy of Photoshop CS2 works perfectly, but when I bring up bridge, it comes up normally, but quickly gives me an error message about licensure and closes.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and figured out a work around?

Thanks,

Jay

Maybe this is not your case, but Bridge tends to give a licencing error message if you open it as the first application after installing Adobe Creative Suite. But this error will not be shown any more if you close the application, open Photoshop (or any other Creative Suite application) and then re-open Bridge.

Does Vista have something similar to XP’s Compatibility Mode? (Right-click the application icon on the desktop, choose Properties > Compatibility > "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" > choose an earlier version of Windows.) I’ve never used Vista, but this sometimes works in Win XP. (Other times not.)
