Hi, my problem is that when I go to choose the paper type that I want to print with from print settings there are only 4 types there to choose from. How do I get to all the options? Do I have to re-import them some how? I’m printing with an Epson 2200 and using photoshop cs2.

You don’t choose your paper type in Photoshop. You could set your image dimensions and dpi when you create, etc. your image. You need to go in to the printer driver and select your paper there. Next to the drop down list of printers in the Photoshop "Print" dialog box click on the "properties" tab this takes you in to your printers printer driver settings. Everything you print supports should be available to choose from there.

Also, note that Epson disallows certain things when you make certain choices. Like for my R2400 if I choose Velvet Fine Art paper, it automatically chooses certain other settings based on that selection, some I can change others I can’t. Make sure you aren’t choosing something odd that is limiting your options.

If this doesn’t work, the go in to Windows Control panel and choose the printers options and make you selections there. These selections will become the default for all applications (assuming you are using Windows and not a Mac | changing settings from inside an application are specific to that application and that session with the application).

Good luck,

Hi.

I use an Epson 1290, so the drivers won’t be exactly the same.

If you have selected "Borderless" printing a lot of the Media choices will not be available.
