Hi, I have been a lurker and a learner here for some time. Thank you all.
Using PS 6.01 on Win XpPro
My question:
I make a complex, multi-layered image in PS. I flatten the image then save it as tiff. On Windows Explorer with thumbnails enabled, the image looks wrong. It is either a partial image or just a ghost of the real image. Now, if I first save it a bmp and then save that bmp image as a tiff, then, the thumbnail image in Explorer looks OK.
I understand that this is probably a Windows Explorer problem. My question: Does the image information change or degrade by first saving as 24 bit bmp and then converting to tiff.
Thanks
Ed
