Hey all,

I am trying to save a image with transparency from photoshop/save for web/PNG 24 with transparency box checked, but I get a grey in the transparent area.

I know if I go to help/export transparent it will work, but why doesnt it work with save for web?

Here is my image with the background (grey) supposed to be transparent.

IE doesn’t have native support for .pngs. You have to use a filter to display them correctly in Explorer. If you were to use FireFox, you would see that the images have been saved correctly. Do some searching on these forums for png and transparency to get some more links to how to fix this problem.
