I know this is a really easy one..as i used to do it quite a few years ago in a snap…but yesterday i drew a complete blank.
Task:. I needed to place some photos inside the major continents of the world.
I brought in each continent from Illy and they were all on their own layers. I then used copy and "paste into" to get the photos inside each continent. but i KNOW i remember a better way of doing this!!!! IF i am correct…i think it was a simple key stroke that linked the layers together and i could easily edit afterwards. THis effect is widley used to put a graphic within text.
I know this is an easy one…and the paste into worked fine yesterday…but its driving me nuts that i cant remember how to do it the other way. I think it was using a clipping path.
thanks
