Hi – quick question for the group:

I cannot seem to find a way to link a layer mask to a smart object so that movements and transformations of the object also affect the layer mask. Is this a glitch or am I missing something. I can’t seem to find a way to do it myself.

Thanks!
Brett

It was not technically possible. However, put the smart object in a layer group, and assign a layer mask to the group. I don’t know who I should credit for this trick…

Thanks Pierre –
I used that trick all the time for double-masking layers, but I’ll apply it to this problem. b
