I am using Photoshop 7.0.1 on a PC Platform, with my work space colour set to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile. I am running into colour mismatches when I work on a file that is in the same colour space, the first time the file is opened there is no problem but the next time there is a message stating that the file profile of sRGB IEC61966-2.1 does not match the work space profile of sRGB IEC61966-2.1. I have found that I must discard the profile then convert back to sRGB IEC61966-2.1, if I try to use the profile the file comes in with really whacked colour.
To fix this I have tried re setting all preferences in Photoshop at start. I have re installed the program from scratch, and have made sure that all the most recent updates are installed.
This problem is occurring on multiple machines. Any suggestions on what to try?
