Cain’t somebidy hep this pore man!?
I’m having one heck of a time getting high resolution PDF’s with linked TIF files. When I place a TIF file (File > Place), and then convert to PDF, the result is very low resolution. This happens whether the entire file is embedded or just linked.
On the other hand, when I copy the same file from a paint program (Edit > Copy), then paste it (Edit > Paste) and then make a PDF file, the resulting PDF is the same high resolution as the original file.
I know there must be a basic setting somewhere that I am missing, but (and this is a big butt) I sure can’t fine it. I’m using Windows 98SE.
Thanks.
Fred
