Oh so sorry your honour…
What’s your problem?
Instead of telling me off, perhaps you could have set the record straight, and we could have learned from you.
Talking about a worthless post… please read yours again ;-( Marcel

Hello,
I would go AMD. I have both and profer the snappyness of the AMD processor. However, with Intel coming out with the dual core processor this January, you may want to wait. It is a dual processor in one processor. The biggest consideration is the kind of memory and the quantity. I prefer nNO LESS than a gig of memory. My one machine has 1gig RDram. I use Adobe Cs and at times, because of the memory things can be just alittle slow. With DDR3 memory things would be like lightnening.
There differences between AMD and Intel processors. Floating point functions, etc..

What is the difference, anyway?
Intel is traditionally less expensive. That is one reason the "builders" put it into their machines.
Build your own. Buy the components that you can afford. Use lots of memory. Choose AMD or Intel. Get a motherboard to match.
I buy "raid" boards so that I can add more HD’s. Someone suggested a dual processor setup. You need lots of cash for that. I have built six computers.
