When saving files from .psd to .jpg on some (not all) of the machines we just upgraded to CS, the file remains a .psd or when they open a .psd in another program that opens Photoshop documents, it says it’s saving and the file is nowhere to be found in .jpg format. The computers are all using Win2k. There were no problems with the previous version of Photoshop 7.0. Any ideas? Thanks.

JPEG only supports some color modes, 8 bits/channel, no transparency, no layers, etc.

Check the documents (and it was the same in 7.0).
